Pyka is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineering R&amp;D Technician to support the development of its autonomous aircraft systems. Both vehicles are highly economical to operate, easy to deploy, and significantly reduce C02 emissions in their respective industries. What you work on at Pyka makes people’s lives better now and brings the future of electric aviation one step closer each day. Responsibilities<ul><li>Fabricate, assemble, and route complex wiring harnesses based on engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation. Crimp, terminate, and secure connectors (e.g., 38999, Deutsch, Bulgin, M12). </li><li>Troubleshoot and rework PCBs and electronics subsystems. </li><li>Assemble PCBs and electronics subsystems based on schematics, PCB layout, and assembly work instructions.</li><li>Conduct functional and continuity testing on harnesses, circuits, and subassemblies by using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.</li><li>Diagnose and debug electronics circuits and document corrective actions.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of hands-on technician experience in wiring harness assembly, soldering, and electronic testing.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings.</li><li>Hands on experience in building, assembling, and routing various wiring harnesses for complicated electro-mechanical systems. </li><li>Skilled in soldering to IPC-A-610/620 or equivalent standards. Ability to rework PCBs and replace commonly used SMD components (0603 resistors, LQFP components etc). </li><li>Electronic bench testing experience with PCBs using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.</li><li>Understanding of electronic circuits and ability to troubleshoot at the component level.  </li><li>Basic high voltage safety knowledge and comfortable working on 120 VDC, 20 ~ 30 kW systems. </li><li>Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal, to carefully assemble electronic subsystems containing a variety of electrical and mechanical components.</li><li>Experience inspecting and ensuring quality of electrical subsystems. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate is not afraid to ask for clarification or give feedback.  </li></ul>Company Perks<ul><li>$80,000-94,000 per year base salary + equity.
