You are not only the key contact for internal-and external stakeholders, but also the leader and visionary who drives excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across all site operations.  Your key responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:  Strategic Leadership &amp; Team Development<ul> <li>Lead the Varkaus team with a strategic vision, emphasizing accountability and collaboration.</li> <li>Promote core values: get shit done, use good judgement, and push boundaries.</li> <li>Align company objectives with actionable site-level goals.</li> <li>Implement performance metrics and KPIs for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Create an empowering work environment for individual growth and team cohesion.</li> <li>Demonstrate hands-on leadership on-site to build trust and engagement.</li> </ul>Operational Oversight &amp; Resource Management<ul> <li>Ensure the site is equipped with necessary tools and safety equipment.</li> <li>Act as a liaison between Varkaus and other Skeleton teams for seamless communication.</li> <li>Identify operational bottlenecks and implement workflow optimizations.</li> </ul>Financial Ownership &amp; Budget Management<ul> <li>Manage the budgeting process, including planning and reporting.</li> <li>Maintain financial transparency through invoice verification and cost control.</li> <li>Collaborate with the function manager on budget approvals while overseeing financial operations.</li> </ul>External Relations &amp; Compliance<ul> <li>Build relationships with external partners and service providers.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and promote safety best practices.</li> <li>Oversee facility maintenance to ensure operational readiness.</li> </ul>Production Strategy, Campaign Execution &amp; Supply Chain Leadership<ul> <li>Lead production planning and execution aligned with strategic goals.</li> <li>Define production targets, timelines, and resource requirements.</li> <li>Manage material planning, procurement, inventory, and outbound logistics.</li> </ul>Requirements<ul> <li>Experience in industrial or process environments, particularly in piece production.</li> <li>Ideally, experience in battery-related settings.</li> <li>A minimum of 5 years in comparable positions.</li> <li>Proven expertise in managing teams, operations, and site management.</li> <li>Proficient in both Finnish and English.</li> <li>Educational background in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.</li> <li>Willingness to be present on-site in Varkaus five days a week.</li> </ul>Benefits<ul> <li>We offer a good and encouraging work community</li> <li>Our company is in a growth phase, se we also offer good growth opportunities</li> <li>Employee benefits</li> </ul>We're not just about energy storage.
