We want you to have a sense of belonging and feel valued for your contributions and the perspectives you bring.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>&nbsp;Summary:&nbsp;&nbsp;Implement the RES Safety Management System (SMS) on distribution, substation, transmission, or energy storage projects in the US or Canada. T &amp; D Experience Required &nbsp;&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Promotes company safety culture through coaching, development, influence, and training.</li><li>Subject matter expert liaison for health and safety for the project team and client.</li><li>May prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly goals and tasks for other Safety Supervisors working on the project.</li><li>Develop and maintain site specific documentation and templates that include the Site Safety Plan, Site Rules, Emergency Response Plans, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Site Induction.</li><li>Lead safety related discussions at Plan of the Day (POD) Meetings, All Hands Meetings, Tailgate Meetings, Staff Meetings, and Client/Owner Monthly Meetings.</li><li>Deliver training on Safety Initiatives, Site Induction, Work Procedures, Work Instructions, SMS, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Inspect work areas to verify consistency with procedural, client, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Communicate safety related incidents to Corporate Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) Department, across business unit, and the organization.</li><li>Conduct Incident Investigations to determine Root Cause and recommend appropriate Corrective Actions.</li><li>Develop Incident Reports to support findings from Incident Investigations.</li><li>Assist HSQE Department in the development of “Safety Alerts” related to incident to help create awareness across the business unit and organization.</li><li>Drives implementation of proposed Corrective Actions to completion.</li><li>Implement Corporate Drug and Alcohol Testing Procedure.</li><li>Maintain incident data and safety metrics to compile reports.</li><li>Facilitate audits and inspections by third parties and regulatory agencies.</li><li>Safely operate company vehicle to drive to various site locations.</li><li>Assist in development of Risk Assessments and Work Instructions.</li><li>Procure, distribute, and maintain safety related tools and equipment for the project.</li><li>Performs any other job-related duties/functions requested by the Senior Safety Supervisor and/or HSQE Department.</li><li>Present, support, and lead-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.</li><li>Leads by example to show that safety is the most important function, ensuring that all employees follow safe practices while working.</li><li>Accountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct “at risk” behaviors.</li><li>Adheres to and ensures all site team members understand standard operating procedures.</li><li>Leads and supports the site team in technical, quality and safety, utilizing system in place.</li><li>Fosters and demonstrates a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, innovation, and exceeding expectations.</li><li>ANSI/DOT/EPA/OSHA Regulations and Standards.</li><li>Fall Prevention/Climbing/Rescue Training (preferred).</li><li>Heavy Construction and Industrial.</li><li>Hazard Identification and Assessment.</li><li>Electrical Safety.</li><li>Power Generation – Collection, Distribution, Substation, and Transmission</li><li>Collaboration and Team Building.</li><li>Coaching, Mentoring, and Training.</li><li>Mobile Equipment and Cranes.</li><li>Material Handling.</li><li>Work at Height.</li><li>Subcontractor Management.</li><li>Microsoft Office Applications.</li><li>Health and Safety Incident Management Software.</li></ul>&nbsp;Safety:&nbsp;<ul><li>Follows&nbsp;safety and&nbsp;security&nbsp;procedures and determines&nbsp;appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.</li><li>Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working.</li><li>Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.</li><li>Reports&nbsp;potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.</li><li>Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.</li><li>Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.</li><li>Receives job and task specific training prior to work commencing.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Associates Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (Preferred)</li><li>5 or more years of Construction Industry Safety experience (Preferred)</li><li>3 or more years of Renewable Energy Safety Experience&nbsp;(Preferred)</li><li>Emergency Medical Technician (Preferred)</li><li>FA/CPR/AED&nbsp;(Preferred)</li><li>CHST/CUSP/OHST/NCSO Certification&nbsp;(Preferred)</li><li>OSHA 30/10 Certification (Required)</li><li>OSHA 500 Certification (Preferred)</li><li>Must have a valid current driver's license, eligible for corporate vehicle insurance coverage.</li></ul> Anticipated base salary range:&nbsp;&nbsp;$90,000 - $120,000 Premium Daily Per Diem paid for food, lodging, rotational travel Location: Shreveport, LA&nbsp;&nbsp;The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
