AECOM Leeding Builders Group is seeking an experience Construction Project Accountant to join our team of professionals in our Manhattan offices in New York.Job Description<ul><li>Has advanced knowledge of project accounting, providing support for the most complex and/or large scale projects. </li><li>Makes recommendations for project improvement based on review of financial results and knowledge of project(s). </li><li>Researches general ledger account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and A/R cash adjustments. </li><li>Works with customers or clients to gather and provide information. </li><li>May review contracts for additional service opportunities and assist in converting project proposal into project budget.</li><li>Has advanced knowledge of project accounting, providing support for the complex and/or large-scale projects.</li><li>Makes recommendations for project improvement based on review of financial records and knowledge of project(s).</li><li>Works with customers or clients to gather and provide information.</li><li>Prepares monthly billings in a standardized format consisting of subcontractor/vendor invoices, payroll records, and miscellaneous expenses.</li><li>Verifies compliance with billing rates, established percentages, timelines, and other applicable terms established in upstream contracts.</li><li>Reviews subcontractor and vendor billings, including stored material documentation, lien waivers, and other component parts.</li><li>Alerts project managers and subcontractors of unresolved payment compliances which may result payment holds.</li><li>Maintains project budget and commitments in company’s accounting system and modifies same based on executed change orders.</li><li>Researches general ledger account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and A/R cash adjustments.</li><li>Enters and processes miscellaneous payables.</li><li>Prepares analyses, cost tracking documentation utilizing standard templates, and other ad hoc reporting as required.</li><li>Assists project accounting supervisor and company controller with monthly and quarterly reporting.</li><li>Works with project team members to obtain and verify project financial information including projected monthly billings, cash flows, and estimated costs at completion.</li></ul>About Construction Management—Leeding Builders Group (LBG)Leeding Builders Group (LBG) is a New York-based construction manager specializing in open shop commercial, residential and hospitality projects.
