Are you ready to lead a team of talented engineers and shape the future of rail infrastructure?  We are searching for a Signalling Design CRE to review, verify and/or lead the production of signalling design as part of a dedicated signalling design team, as well as provide guidance and leadership to staff within their and other teams.With a comprehensive understanding of the technical and business aspects of the rail-signalling industry, the Signalling Designer CRE will lead the signalling design working in multi-disciplinary project teams, providing strong technical support to the discipline in terms of production, verification and mentoring. Engagement with other staff necessary to discharge these duties will be as follows:<ul><li>Project and Quality Delivery: Project Manager, Project Engineer</li><li>Staff Development: Professional Head of Discipline &amp; Signalling Design Manager</li><li>Client Engagement: Signalling Design Manager, Work Winning team, Project Manager</li><li>Resource Management: Project Manager, Signalling Design Manager</li><li>Cross Business Line: Professional Head of Discipline &amp; Signalling Design Manager</li></ul>Here’s what you’ll do: <ul><li>Collaborate: Provide design delivery support in day-to-day duties throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion, including -</li><li>Deliver: Verification of railway signalling designs specifications and reports. Role may also include production duties, applying first principles as required. Ensure all deliverables verified/produced comply with company procedures, contractual and statutory requirements, including delivery within agreed timescales and performance parameters.</li><li>Innovate: Liaising and meeting with others including clients, stakeholders, and external railway contractors. Undertake the technical liaison with other team disciplines, departments and externally</li><li>Thrive: Mentoring, support, guidance, and development of junior staff</li></ul>
