Employees in this job design and implement information technology solutions to meet customer needs and business goals and strategies.Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Demonstrates a strong familiarity with business processes that are in their area of business focus</li><li>Establishes and manages effective customer relationships with users of business, financial and operations systems, as well as technical team members</li><li>Applies advanced analytical skills within functional area to decompose work into manageable value-based units</li><li>Responds to requests, identifies conflicts, and makes recommendations where needed</li><li>Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems</li><li>Uses knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gaps</li><li>Builds strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solution</li><li>Contributes to the application testing process (directly or to support end users)</li><li>Creates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project framework</li><li>Maintains a familiarity with market trends in technology</li><li>Act as project leader for significant projects</li><li>Collects and interprets Asset data and works closely with external teams and vendors to ensure accuracy of the data throughout the asset life cycle</li><li>Identify and understand the various sources for asset data</li><li>Maintain the accuracy of Configuration Items (CIs) in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)</li><li>Perform regular audits of the assets to ensure that all records are complete and up to date.</li><li>Provide advice to management and staff on IT asset management related processes, models, improvements, and best practices</li><li>Identify continuous improvement opportunities to fine-tune related processes</li><li>Define metrics, collect data, and report on the effectiveness of IT asset management processes</li><li>Develops and maintains comprehensive asset lifecycle management strategies from procurement through disposal, ensuring optimal asset utilization, cost management, and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout each phase of the asset journey</li><li>Lead the problem-ticket resolution program to ensure adherence to the 30-day SLA for CIP-010 R2 compliance; allocate resources, provide guidance to the team, ensure timely escalation, and exercise final decision authority on complex situations.</li><li>Oversee asset baseline updates within 30 days from the date of change to comply with CIP-010 R1.3.</li><li>Approve new CIP devices onto Tripwire and establish baselines per CIP-010 R1.1, ensuring assets meet Operations gold standard.</li><li>Develop and report weekly metrics on teamwork completion and the impact on security posture.</li><li>Design and implement process improvements across key configuration management pillars to optimize resource utilization for routine tasks.</li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned</li></ul>
