Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Leading planning, implementation, and coordination of accident prevention, fire prevention, occupational health, and environmental programs.</li><li>Providing safety, health, and environmental training to employees.</li><li>Conducting regular facility inspections, hazard/risk assessments, and incident investigations with corrective actions.</li><li>Enforcing all GEA production HSE legal requirements, including PPE assessments, incident reporting, and environmental compliance.</li><li>Organizing and ensuring annual execution of emergency response drills (fire, tornado, earthquake, evacuation, shelter-in-place).</li><li>Preparing, filing, and maintaining records, reports, and permits (EPA, OSHA, state, and local).</li><li>Auditing sites to maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.</li><li>Supporting the QHSE Manager in sustaining ISO certifications and driving continuous improvement.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For<ul><li>Education: Two-year degree in HSE with one additional year of relevant experience or any two year degree and two years working in the field.</li><li>Experience: Experience in a chemical or manufacturing facility preferred.</li><li>Skills:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, state, and local safety/environmental regulations.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>Problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.</li></ul></li><li>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day.</li><li>Lift/carry 25–35 lbs. occasionally.</li><li>Occasional exposure to manufacturing environments (PPE required).</li></ul></li><li>Travel: Limited travel up to 10% to GEA production and shop sites across North America.</li></ul><div></div>Why Join GEA?<ul><li>Be part of a global leader in sustainable technologies.</li><li>Make a real impact on workplace safety and environmental stewardship.</li><li>Collaborate with talented, mission-driven teams across multiple sites.</li><li>Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.</li></ul><div></div>👉 Apply Today!
