This leader will ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production that meets daily company delivery targets. The role requires strong shop-floor presence, rapid problem-solving, and the ability to align night shift operations with day shift leadership priorities.</p><p> </p><p><strong>You Will </strong></p><ul><li>End-to-End Oversight: Lead night shift operations across all Powertrain areas (Battery, Drive Unit, Power Electronics).<span> </span></li><li>KPI Accountability: Deliver SQDCP targets across safety, quality, throughput (JPH), OEE, scrap cost, and delivery to GA.<span> </span></li><li>Shift Leadership &amp; Alignment: Act as the senior operations leader on-site during night shift, ensuring seamless communication and handoff with day shift teams.<span> </span></li><li>Reliability &amp; Problem Solving: Drive root-cause analysis and structured problem solving (5-Why, PFMEA, 8D, etc.) to sustain uptime and reduce chronic failures.<span> </span></li><li>Team Development: Mentor and coach supervisors, team leads, and hourly staff to ensure engagement, discipline, and adherence to standards.<span> </span></li><li>Cross-Shop Coordination: Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, TPM, IE, and Quality teams to resolve issues quickly and keep production running smoothly.<span> </span></li><li>Standardization: Enforce consistent processes and ensure that changes, updates, and best practices are implemented uniformly across all PWT lines.<span> </span></li><li>Safety &amp; Compliance: Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with company and regulatory standards during night shift.<span> </span></li></ul><p><strong>You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field (preferred).<span> </span></li><li>8+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, with 3+ years in a leadership role.<span> </span></li><li>Proven track record of delivering production KPIs in safety, quality, throughput, and cost.<span> </span></li><li>Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies, and equipment reliability.<span> </span></li><li>Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.<span> </span></li><li>Prior experience in automotive, aerospace, or other advanced manufacturing preferred.<span> </span></li><li>Ability to work any shift and lead independently with minimal direct oversight.</li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
