We are seeking intellectually curious and highly motivated team members who are ready to embrace the thrilling challenge of building the first European owned hyperscale cloud.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Stockholm</p><p><strong>Job type:</strong> Permanent position</p><p><strong>Join the Pioneers</strong></p><p>This is a rare opportunity to influence the technical foundation of a European hyperscaler— at the very beginning. </p><p>As an AI Systems Engineer at evroc, you will be at the center of developing and operating our AI platform services, providing evroc’s customers/users with a superior experience, ranging from inference-as-a-service to infrastructure for large-scale training.</p><p>Working with the latest Nvidia GPU hardware and open-source AI technologies, you’ll ensure our platform is secure, resource efficient, and performant. evroc's AI services bring European sovereignty, data privacy, and sustainability to AI application developers.</p><p>You will work in close collaboration with infrastructure, platform, and storage teams, across our development hubs in Stockholm, Sophia Antipolis (France), and London.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Tackle</strong></p><ul><li>Designing, building, and maintaining a production platform for AI inference and training, based on Kubernetes.</li><li>Implementing multi-tenancy in GPU-accelerated platforms, ensuring efficient resource sharing, workload isolation, and scheduling. </li><li>Optimizing resource utilization and performance of AI inference and training workloads.</li><li>Monitoring and metrics collection for real-time control and accounting.</li><li>Security in all aspects, from user authentication to GPU attestation.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills We Value</strong></p><ul><li>Operating system fundamentals, e.g., containerization, virtualization, and device drivers, including SR-IOV and RDMA.</li><li>Operational experience with Kubernetes. </li><li>GPU low-level software stack, e.g., Nvidia CUDA, MIG, GPU Operator, DCGM, and GPU interconnect software.</li><li>AI/ML frameworks and runtimes, e.g., vLLM and PyTorch.</li><li>Distributed systems fundamentals, including networking, scheduling, and resource allocation.</li><li>Software development in programming languages such as Golang, Rust, and Python.</li><li>Security technologies, e.g. TPM, TEE, and Confidential Computing.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively address complex platform engineering challenges.</li></ul><p>We offer a competitive salary and an equity package to attract the best.
