This role is especially critical as our facility undergoes a turnaround, requiring strong leadership to implement change, improve processes, and build a high-performance culture. In addition to managing daily operations, this role offers significant career growth opportunities as the business continues to expand, making it an excellent fit for leaders eager to advance with a growing organization.<h2>Responsibilities</h2> What Will You Do<ul> <li>Lead daily operations on the production floor, ensuring manufacturing processes meet schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.</li> <li>Drive change in a turnaround environment by identifying improvement opportunities, implementing corrective actions, and sustaining gains.</li> <li>Monitor overdue units and turnaround times to ensure consistent on-time delivery.</li> <li>Partner with Manufacturing Team Leads to allocate resources effectively, resolve production challenges, and minimize downtime.</li> <li>Review and analyze production metrics to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, introducing innovative solutions that enhance productivity and product quality.</li> <li>Champion continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational performance and employee engagement.</li> <li>Collect, interpret, and maintain essential reports, including production output, employee time/attendance, and product waste, ensuring accuracy and timeliness (Excel proficiency required; training provided).</li> <li>Manage production scheduling, including vacation and time-off planning.</li> <li>Address performance, attendance, and employee relations issues in collaboration with Human Resources and the General Manager.</li> <li>Support hiring, retention, and onboarding of employees, including development of training schedules and facilitation of training.</li> <li>Provide input and recommendations for capital expenditure (CapEx) planning.</li> <li>Implement housekeeping schedules, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.</li> <li>Promote associate engagement by modeling enthusiasm, commitment, and teamwork.</li> <li>Enforce a safety-first culture through audits, procedure compliance, and training.</li> <li>Conduct performance evaluations with constructive feedback and coaching to develop employees and strengthen team capability.</li> <li>Collaborate with the General Manager and fellow Production Supervisors to align production goals with broader plant objectives.</li> <li>Mentor and develop Team Leads, supporting their professional growth and readiness for greater responsibility.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2> What Will You Need<ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred</li> <li>At least three years of experience as a Team Lead or in an equivalent leadership role</li> <li>Seven years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment</li> <li>Three to five years of supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing or warehouse operations</li> <li>Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations</li> <li>Proven ability to lead through change in fast-paced, high-pressure environments</li> <li>Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels</li> <li>Servant leadership mindset with demonstrated success in motivating and engaging teams</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent</li> <li>Experience with MRP or ERP systems</li></ul> Disclaimer:This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working con required. Let’s Build the Future TogetherAt ERMCO, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your impact is real.
