Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Architect &amp; Implement: Design and deploy cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure using Azure Landing Zones.</li><li>Platform Engineering: Develop reusable modules and automation for infrastructure provisioning (IaC), environment consistency, and policy enforcement across multiple environments.</li><li>Operations &amp; Optimization: Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and availability. Implement observability, alerting, and proactive remediation using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and native tooling.</li><li>Security &amp; Compliance: Work with security team to implement RBAC, Azure Policies, NSGs, and other controls to enforce governance and compliance standards.</li><li>Collaboration: Interface with enterprise architects, development teams, and application owners to support project delivery and infrastructure needs.</li><li>Innovation &amp; Standards: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, assess applicability, and lead proofs-of-concept and pilot implementations.</li><li>Hybrid Integration: Manage on-prem connectivity (e.g., ExpressRoute, VPN) and hybrid identity using Azure AD Connect and related services.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Knowledge Sharing: Produce detailed architecture documents, standard operating procedures, and share knowledge across teams.</li></ul>Requirements  Education: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related experience</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT, with 3+ years focused on cloud engineering.</li><li>Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, specifically with Landing Zone implementation and management.</li><li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform (preferred), Bicep, or ARM Templates.</li><li>Strong background in networking, security, and identity management in cloud and hybrid environments.</li><li>Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and integrating infrastructure workflows into DevOps toolchains.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud cost optimization, tagging strategies, and FinOps principles.</li></ul>Leadership and Communication:<ul><li>Self-driven and comfortable operating with minimal supervision.</li><li>Proven ability to mentor junior team members.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul>Problem-Solving: <ul><li>Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyze data, and provide innovative, scalable solutions.</li></ul>Preferred Job Skills &amp; Qualifications:Technical Skills:<ul><li>Experience with AWS cloud platform and hybrid architectures is a strong plus.</li><li>Experience with DataBricks support is a strong plus.</li></ul>Certifications:<ul><li>Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert</li><li>Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate</li><li>AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)</li></ul>Retail Energy Experience: <ul><li>Experience in the retail energy sector, with knowledge of industry-specific challenges, regulations, and business models.</li></ul>Cybersecurity Knowledge: <ul><li>Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices in regulated industries like energy.</li></ul> Equal Opportunity Employer: We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workforce.
