We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.We are Hiring a Regional Materials Manager for the Mid-Central Region at Carterville, IL!Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:<ul><li>Establishes and monitors material levels for assigned Services Americas locations.</li><li>Responsible to aide in supplier optimization</li><li>Develop standard operating procedure (SOP) in accordance with systems</li><li>Maintain source system data including but not limited to lead times, preferred supplier, unit cost, etc</li><li>Aide in the roll-out and utilization of inventory management system</li><li>Act as liaison between branch operations and materials to drive best in class business practices</li><li>Ensure purchase orders are placed efficiently and followed/expedited to ensure on time delivery to meet customer order requirements.</li><li>Maintain good business relationships with suppliers through regular communication.  Ensure that critical delivery needs, major contracts, material reject problems and other performance issues are communicated, discussed and resolved on a regular basis.</li><li>Monitor Raw Material, WIP and Finished Goods for materials availability, financial tracking and in support of company goals.</li><li>Works with Operations leaders to resolve material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.</li><li>Ensure Xylem complies with all Import and Export Compliance Policy and Procedures.</li><li>Determine needs for new suppliers and plan the development of the same.</li><li>Ensure Xylem contracted suppliers and Xylem preferred methods of procurement are used by all locations purchasing goods and services.  Preferred methods are in order of priority:  EBuy, P-Card, and Purchase Order.</li><li>Lead Lean initiatives utilizing the ERP system to streamline the overall materials management process.</li><li>Assist in developing and executing inventory cycle count processes to assure high inventory accuracies.
