Highly efficient and extremely reliable rocket engines will make these reusable delivery systems a reality.As an Assembly Technician - Fluids Build, you will be responsible for the precise and rapid building of a variety of fluid system assemblies for all Stoke’s products and test stands.Leveraging your previous experience, you will build complex fluid and pneumatic assemblies alongside engineers and independently; all while giving design feedback and logging accurate build notes for future reference. You will use your resourcefulness and communication skills to identify and solve issues with the assistance of machinists, welders and engineering support. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient work area, tooling, local inventory storage and process development. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform precision assembly of complex fluid systems, including pneumatic components, according to engineering drawings, CAD models, and work instructions.</li><li>Collaborate directly with engineers to provide feedback on design for manufacturability, refine assembly procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.</li><li>Execute precision cleaning of fluid system components and maintain a meticulously clean work environment in accordance with 5S, FOD (Foreign Object Debris), and ESD standards.</li><li>Follow and meticulously document all build steps, identify and report any discrepancies to engineering, and perform verifications to ensure quality and compliance.</li><li>Safely work with and handle high-pressure pneumatics, as well as hazardous fluids and chemicals.</li><li>Utilize precision measurement tools, including torque wrenches, calipers, and micrometers, to ensure all assemblies meet exact specifications.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of that experience focused on the precision assembly of complex fluid systems (e.g., hydraulic, pneumatic, cryogenic, or propellant systems).</li><li>Demonstrated experience with aerospace-grade fluid system components, including fittings, threads, seals, and valves.</li><li>Experience working with high-pressure, cryogenic, or oxygen-service hardware and a deep understanding of associated contamination control (FOD) requirements.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and 3D models</li><li>Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches) and standard mechanical tools.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces as needed.</li></ul>  Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Direct experience with launch vehicle or rocket propulsion system assembly, integration, and testing.</li><li>Working knowledge of a variety of rocket propellants (e.g., cryogenics, RP, hydrogen peroxide).</li><li>Deep understanding of pressurized system safety for pneumatic and hydraulic systems.</li><li>Experience performing precision assembly in a clean room environment.</li><li>Experience operating heavy lifting equipment (cranes, forklifts) around flight-critical hardware.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Equity – We know that our employees are the reason we succeed.
