This role will lead financial reporting and statutory compliance, while ensuring alignment with corporate goals. The Sr. Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and senior leadership to provide timely, actionable financial insights and support business decision-making.</p><p><strong>The Role: </strong></p><ul><li>Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and lead the preparation and filing of financial statements with local GAAP for all Europe entities.<ul><li>Act as the primary accounting contact across departments, providing expertise and cross-functional support.</li><li>Review and approve monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis.</li></ul></li><li>Lead the preparation of accounting reconciliations.</li><li>Assist with timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.</li><li>Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.</li><li>Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during audits.</li><li>Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial assets.</li><li>Drive the continuous improvement of accounting processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy and improve departmental functionality, in accordance with SOX compliance.</li><li>Work closely with other departments (e.g., Commercial, Operations, HR, Tax) to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve accounting issues.</li><li>Assist in strategic decision-making by providing relevant financial insights and recommendations.</li><li>Lead Payroll Operations and manage local payroll requirements</li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.</li><li>Lead and support special projects and ad hoc assignments as required.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><ul><li>Relevant strong background in publicly traded automotive industry or manufacturing companies (preferred)</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).</li><li>CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification (required).</li><li>MBA or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).</li><li>10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including 2+ years in a leadership role.</li><li>Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and SOX compliance.</li><li>Experience with SAP ERP systems and Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience is a must.</li><li>Proven experience in managing a team and working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing appropriately and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.</li><li>Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence people effectively.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours to ensure alignment with U.S. headquarters.</li></ul><div><p><span><em>Lucid Motors is committed to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment.
