Internship is full-time and on-site in Mountainview, CA.</p><p>The Electrical Engineering team at Muon is responsible for all electronics on the spacecraft, ranging from the batteries to the flight computer and even our own payloads! Interns can look forward to owning a project from start to finish which could involve developing a new test for our production avionics or designing a PCBA for a new capability. We're committed to offering an experience where your decisions and contributions play a pivotal role in driving Muon's success.</p><p><span style="font-size:18pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li>Take ownership of or contribute to the hardware or firmware design for spacecraft or payload development</li><li>Initiate or assist in test campaigns and/or design and improve test setups</li><li>Conduct analysis to support both development and testing phases</li><li>Engage in testing and measurement activities in the lab, either on the bench or within a clean room environment</li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:18pt;">Qualifications </span></h2><ul><li>Familiarity with Altium, KiCAD or other schematic capture and layout software</li><li>Experience with Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, and DMMs</li><li>Prior experience designing, testing, and debugging PCBAs</li><li>Basic programming skills in C/C++ and/or python</li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:18pt;">Nice-to-have Skills</span></h2><ul><li>Previous internship or co-op experience </li><li>Previous experience on technical project teams (i.e. Rocket club, formula SAE, solar car, etc.) </li><li>Experience with Component Test Racks, Hardware-in-the-loop testing (HIL or HITL), wire harness design and building </li><li>Ability to solder/reflow PCBAs and use hand tools</li><li>Experience testing and characterizing battery cells or packs </li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:18pt;">Salary</span></h2><p>The hourly wage for this role is $50.</p><div><h1><span style="font-size:14pt;">About Muon Space</span></h1><p><span style="font-size:12pt;">Founded in 2021, Muon Space is an end-to-end Space Systems Provider that designs, builds, and operates LEO satellite constellations delivering mission-critical data.
