Must be able to determine the true root cause, develop effective corrective actions, and drive the implementation effort to completion.</li><li>Design and develop quality control systems, quality assurance plans, and inspection processes to maintain standards.</li><li>Conduct internal audits, as well as supplier audits to meet company specifications.</li><li>Supplier Quality</li><li>Ensure PPAP’s are in place and approved prior to production for all custom parts.</li><li>Address supplier Escapes &amp; Internal turn-backs through CAPA process and Root cause and corrective action</li><li>New Supplier Development - Identify and qualify alternate vendor technologies/ manufacturing processes/ materials</li><li>Providing guidance on process enhancements and improvements.</li><li>Reviewing engineering and manufacturing specifications.</li><li>Monitoring materials for defects.</li><li>New Product Introduction:</li><li>Create robust control plans</li><li>Ensure the PDP process is followed, and all elements are completed.</li><li>Evaluate beta test results and dealer feedback.</li><li>Determine the risk and liability of moving forward with product production based upon the beta build / results, manufacturability, and testing.</li><li>Process Improvement:</li><li>Evaluate and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement methodologies.</li><li>Collaborate with production and engineering teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.</li><li>Documentation and Reporting:</li><li>Maintain detailed records of corrective actions, inspections, and quality audits.</li><li>Prepare and present quality metrics, trends, and reports to management and stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure that all quality documentation meets industry standards.</li><li>Testing and Validation:</li><li>Develop and conduct tests to assess product quality, reliability, and performance.</li><li>Validate and calibrate testing equipment to maintain accuracy.</li><li>Oversee the implementation of testing protocols and ensure that products meet specifications before release.</li><li>Training and Team Collaboration:</li><li>Train staff in quality control procedures and best practices.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to resolve quality-related issues.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to creating a culture of continuous improvement.</li></ul>The estimated pay range for this role is $70,000-80,000.
