You will be a valued team member helping to provide a great experience for our staff members. We are a small team, and everyone helps out in all tasks including prepping, cooking and cleaning.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li><p><strong>Food Preparation &amp; Cooking:</strong> Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning. Cook food using various methods such as grilling, frying, and sautéing, ensuring each dish is prepared to the highest quality.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Kitchen Maintenance:</strong> Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following all sanitation and safety procedures. This includes properly storing all food and equipment.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Dishwashing &amp; Storage:</strong> Assist with washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. Store all clean items correctly to ensure they are ready for use.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Quality Control:</strong> Check the quality of all ingredients before use and ensure all dishes are well-presented before they are served.</p></li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li><p><strong>Experience &amp; Education:</strong> A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Skills &amp; Knowledge:</strong> You should be proficient in using a variety of kitchen tools and equipment, including cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware. A strong knowledge of different cooking procedures (e.g., grilling, baking, boiling) is essential.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Teamwork &amp; Communication:</strong> You must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment and understand that success is a team effort. You enjoy being part of something bigger than yourself and work toward a common goal.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Commitment to Quality &amp; Safety:</strong> A keen eye for detail and a strict adherence to all sanitation rules and procedures are required.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Availability:</strong> Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.</p></li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li><p><strong>Culinary Education:</strong> A diploma or degree from a recognized culinary school is a strong plus.</p></li></ul><p>The target base pay for this position is $23-$29/hour.
