The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to financial leadership in a dynamic business environment.<h2>Responsibilities</h2> How you can make an impact: Accounting<ul> <li>Leads and oversees all aspects of the accounting function within the organization, including oversight of global timekeeping, payroll activities, accounts payable and receivables, and the overall accounting control environment. </li> <li>Develops and leads a high-performing team that manages day-to-day accounting operations and ensures accounting processes run efficiently and effectively.</li> <li>Prepares and reviews timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.</li> <li>Incorporates the principles of consolidation accounting into the accounting and financial reporting systems and associated processes.</li> <li>Ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting.</li> <li>Oversees month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies—Automates and streamlines processes when possible.</li> <li>Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.</li> <li>Audits accounts for errors and corrects any inconsistencies. Master's degree or MBA is recommended.</li> <li>Active CPA license required.  Must be willing to become licensed in Texas.</li> <li>Minimum of 15 years of experience in accounting, with 10 plus years in a management role, preferably within the engineering or tech services sector.</li> <li>Proven experience in managing and directing all accounting processes.</li> <li>Strong technical accounting skills.
