AECOM is actively seeking a Contract Administrator for employment in Kitchener, ON. The successful candidate will have an understanding of civil engineering technology, CAD, and have proven experience in the Contract Administration/inspection of municipal infrastructure. You will be expected to work within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other project team members and customers. You will have a high level of initiative, motivation, and displays drive, energy and enthusiasm for getting things done. You will be expected to support in the delivery of infrastructure to customers primarily within the municipal water, wastewater and stormwater sector.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:AECOM is seeking a full-time, hybrid, Contract Administrator to work within our Water business line supporting  municipal wastewater infrastructure construction projects.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Coordinate and monitor the flow of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery in line with project schedules and procurement plans</li><li>Collaborate closely with procurement and project management teams to align delivery schedules with construction or production milestones</li><li>Work with Project Manager, Design Team, Client and Construction Contractor in expediting solutions to technical field problems </li><li>Expedite Supplier documentation and review construction submittals</li><li>Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements</li><li>Coordinate inspections, provide regular updates to project team and the Client, review and prepare contractor payment applications, and respond to RFI’s.</li><li>Issue Change Orders, Change Directives, Site Instructions</li><li>Participate in the negotiation of change orders specific to design changes</li><li>Participate in the resolution of delay and other claims by the contractor</li><li>Participate in and document all construction meetings onsite (progress meeting, commissioning meeting, etc.)</li><li>Participate/coordinate in testing and commissioning activities</li><li>Ensure compliance with contractual delivery terms and project requirements</li></ul>
