From cutting-edge flood control and climate resiliency initiatives to state-of-the-art container terminals, naval piers, LNG facilities, cruise ports, marinas, and coastal protection schemes—you’ll be at the forefront of engineering solutions that transform waterfronts and protect communities.If you're passionate about designing the future of our coasts and ports, this is your chance to make waves with AECOM.Responsibilities:Design:As a Waterfront Structural Engineer, the appropriately qualified applicant will be part of a team responsible for the design of small to large-scale Ports &amp; Marine projects:Structural Engineer:<ul><li>Conduct/ manage engineering structural design as the supervisor and/or lead structural engineer.</li><li>Create or review designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.</li><li>Collects and analyzes data.</li><li>Use computer software as a tool for solving basic and complex engineering problems.</li><li>Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule.</li><li>Review of the calculations and work prepared by other teams.</li><li>Mentor junior staff</li></ul>Project Management:<ul><li>Manages one or more complex projects involving a full spectrum of engineering services offered by AECOM.</li><li>Provides project and technical task management for one or more simultaneous projects.</li><li>Identifies problems, determines accuracy and relevance of information, uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations.</li><li>Good presentation and communication skills in English. Good report and proposal writing skills.</li><li>Will assist leadership in developing new client relationships and to strengthen existing client relationships.
