Supports GISC Quality to drive standardization of processes (quality tools like FMEA´s, control plans, poka yokes, testing equipment) and BBP´s (technical improvements, procedures, etc.) across all plants within the Product Operations footprint.How you will do it:<ul><li>Develop, implement, and manage quality systems to drive discipline and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.</li><li>Assure compliance with all QS, ISO, and IATF 16949 requirements and act as the primary plant representative during audits.</li><li>Manage the plant's Quality team, including hiring, training, performance feedback, and professional development for all direct reports.</li><li>Manage Quality Assurance Systems, including warranty data, scrap data, customer concerns, and SNR’s to ensure accurate records and meet customer expectations.</li><li>Oversee the annual Quality budget, administer process specifications (SCO/DCO, Control Plan), and determine the disposition of defective materials.</li><li>Review customer scorecards and portals, manage corrective/preventive actions, and notify customers of any planned changes to product or process.</li><li>Provide technical support to customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and represent the plant in escalated quality matters.</li><li>Drive scrap identification and lead plant-wide initiatives for scrap reduction and overall quality improvement.</li></ul>What we look for:Required:<ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>IATF/VDA audit experience.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Six Sigma Black Belt certification.</li><li>Hands-on lab testing experience.</li><li>Six Sigma Green Belt certification.</li></ul>What we do hereTampa, Florida is home to a fully integrated plant that manufacturers batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks.
