The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Transportation Engineering Intern for immediate employment in the Columbus, Ohio office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting and challenging projects on the local and national level, including the Brent Spence Corridor project where AECOM is functioning as the lead designer. The intern can look forward to projects including highway and bridge related design. Example Activities:<ul><li>Perform design calculations for highway and bridge design projects.</li><li>Design in AutoCAD and Microstation.</li><li>Assist project manager/project engineer in preparation of planning documents.</li><li>Assist project manager/project engineer in development of construction documents to include Civil drawings and technical specifications.</li></ul>In addition to in-office engineering work, AECOM offers a 10 week virtual internship learning program from June through August designed to help you learn more about AECOM, expand your professional network, help you realize your career potential at AECOM and have fun!  You will have an opportunity to access career growth resources, learn from business leaders, and engage in internal networking and social events.
