AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager for immediate employment in Orange, CA.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Oversee and manage the construction management staff on transportation-related construction projects</li><li>Provide leadership and direction to both field and office staff</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring clear and effective communication</li><li>Coordinate all aspects of construction with contractors, clients, and stakeholders</li><li>Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones</li><li>Monitor and control project budgets, identifying and mitigating potential cost overruns</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contract specifications</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and address any issues</li><li>Manage the submittal and RFI processes, ensuring timely responses and approvals</li><li>Oversee change order management, including evaluation, negotiation, and implementation</li><li>Prepare and present progress reports to clients and upper management</li><li>Facilitate dispute resolution between project stakeholders when necessary</li><li>Coordinate with local authorities and utility companies for permits and relocations</li><li>Implement and maintain project management software and documentation systems</li><li>Mentor and develop junior staff members to enhance team capabilities</li></ul>The Construction Manager is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex transportation projects effectively.
