This is a paid internship - 40 hours per week for 8 - 10 weeks in an office environment; this is not a remote position.YOUR IMPACT<ul><li>Plan, develop, and coordinate detailed phases of inspection on a wide variety of manufacturing concerns</li><li>Help to ensure compliance to established procedures and interact with team leaders and subject matter experts, including design engineers to produce documents and help train individuals</li><li>Complete research regarding problem areas of varying scope and complexity to develop suitable inspection techniques, monitoring schedules and procedures for application in problem areas</li><li>Work with engineering and manufacturing disciplines to resolve production quality problems</li><li>Support 6S, Kaizen, A3, and other RCI events</li><li>Support RCI Training activities and initiatives</li><li>Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>US Citizenship is required due to government contracts</li><li>Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program (preferably Junior or Senior), in the following fields of study: Business or Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering</li><li>Strong MS Office knowledge, especially in Excel and Word</li><li>Excellent communication and organization skills</li><li>Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to work individually or as part of a team</li><li>High attention to detail</li><li>Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices a plus (i.e., Kanban, 5S/6S, A3)</li><li>Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment</li></ul>Pay Range: $18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
