You’ll establish decanting processes for staging components in totes compatible with gravity flow racks and engineer line-side presentation fixtures that support repeatable and ergonomic assembly of large-scale products. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role that’s ideal for someone with experience in large-format manufacturing environments. Roles &amp; Responsibilities <ul><li>Design and implement the material flow system between the warehouse (next door) and the production line using tugger vehicles and carts.</li><li>Develop a decanting operation for transferring parts from bulk packaging into totes that integrate with gravity flow racks.</li><li>Design line-side presentation fixtures to ensure ergonomic, efficient, and standardized part access for operators.</li><li>Create material delivery schedules and replenishment strategies optimized for repeatable builds and fixed takt times.</li><li>Map out physical flows, tugger routes, staging areas, and line-side inventory zones.</li><li>Specify and oversee the procurement of material handling equipment, racks, carts, bins, and fixtures.</li><li>Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure material presentation supports efficient, high-yield assembly.</li><li>Develop clear documentation including process flow diagrams, layout drawings, SOPs, and visual standards.</li><li>Monitor and continuously improve material movement efficiency using data-driven methods.</li><li>Train team members on material handling processes, safety practices, and standard work procedures.</li></ul> Key Qualifications <ul><li style="font-weight:400;"><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.</li></ul><ul><li>4-8 years of experience in material flow, manufacturing engineering, or logistics in a low-mix or repetitive production environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, standard work, and just-in-time delivery.</li><li>Experience designing decanting stations and line-side presentation solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in layout design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent).</li><li>Familiarity with tugger systems, kanban, and flow rack configurations.</li><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills.</li><li>Clear communication and documentation abilities.</li></ul></li></ul> Additional Qualifications Desired <ul><li>Experience in assembly line setup or re-layouts in low-mix production environments.</li><li>Experience working with large, heavy, or oversized products or components is strongly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems.</li><li>Ability to model or simulate material flow using basic tools or software.</li></ul> Work Location:  Onsite - San Jose, CASalary Range:  $121,000 USD - $145,000 USDSalary Basis:  AnnualPlease note that the salary range listed above reflects Antora Energy's estimated pay for this position.
