This unique market opportunity, paired with Energy Solutions mission driven approach, creates a perfect environment for an individual who wants to have an active voice in shaping the nation’s energy future. This position is a remote opportunity, but applicants must reside in the Greater Salt Lake, UT or willing to relocate. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  <ul><li>Responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of organizational relationships with lighting dealers and HVAC distributors and manufacturers </li><li>Travel to trade ally/market actor locations with the goal of driving energy efficiency incentive program performance, building rapport, providing program support and solidifying connection(s)  </li><li>Serve as a go-to resource and conduit between Energy Solutions program leads and Outreach and Trade Ally Team (OTAT)  </li><li>Track and report market activity and developments to develop in-depth knowledge and ability to accurately predict market activity  </li><li>Contribute to and support outreach plans for new programs (program launch) and existing programs  </li><li>Analyze program-level participation statistics, market and economic data, and regulatory activity to determine sales potential and monitor performance trends  </li><li>Contribute to the development of trade ally and market actor relationships – managing and building out best practice documentation relating to trade ally and market actor relationships  </li><li>Develop familiarity with public data resources and finding relevancy to Energy Solutions’ strategic interests, and report development as appropriate  </li><li>Support distributors and contractors with program training and events </li><li>Provide program support to market actors in helping them participate in the program and submitting rebate claims </li><li>Participate in program meetings and planning sessions </li></ul>  Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related position(s) with a Bachelor's degree </li><li>A minimum of 4 years of work experience in a related position(s) in lieu of a Bachelor's degree </li><li>Willingness to conduct frequent business travel locally 20-30% in Utah and potential travel to Idaho and Wyoming and occasional travel (less than 5%) to conferences and west coast</li><li>Experience with Energy Efficiency preferred</li><li>Ability to build relationships with market actors and trade allies and be comfortable through phone calls, emails and face to face meetings  </li><li>Familiarity with the HVAC and/or lighting preferred </li><li>Work experience in sales, HVAC or lighting at a dealer/distributor or contractor preferred</li><li>Exposure to construction supply chain is a bonus, but not required </li><li>Ability to interact professionally with clients and present in primary role  </li><li>Excellent business acumen and communication, negotiation, and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to work and thrive independently  </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office and Salesforce to track activity preferred  </li></ul> The salary range for this role is $69,000–$79,000, with a target compensation of $79,000 based on experience and qualifications<div>Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package.
