AECOM’s Markham, ON office is seeking an Instrumentation and Automation Engineer for immediate employment.In this role you will: <ul><li>Provide SCADA, Control Systems and Ethernet Network design.</li><li>Develop, test and commission PLC/SCADA applications. Implement Software Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.</li><li>Prepare contract documents, including drawings and specifications, I/O lists and instrument data sheet.</li><li>Provide conceptual and/or detailed engineering of process instrumentation and control systems. Assist other designers in development of process monitoring and control strategies including the preparation of P&amp;IDs, Process Control Narratives, and hardware and software design specifications.</li><li>Coordinate with Engineers, Designers, CAD staff, Project Managers and other disciplines as required.</li><li>Ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation in accordance with AECOM QA/QC programs.</li><li>Ensure that project needs are met in an effective and timely manner.</li><li>Work within a multi-discipline team to design, develop and implement efficient and reliable SCADA/Control Systems.</li><li>Resolve site queries, attend site meetings and perform site inspections during the construction phase of projects.</li><li>Work with Department and Project Managers and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each project.</li><li>Be accountable to provide all activities in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including all of AECOM’s policies and procedures, such as Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. </li></ul>
