AECOM is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Hydrogeologist, who has 4 years of experience to support environmental investigation and remediation projects in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in hydrogeology and environmental consulting, and who bring project management experience or a desire to grow into a leadership role.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing site characterization, groundwater investigations, and remediation activities. The position involves both office and field work, with a focus on technical planning, data analysis, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead or support environmental investigations at a chemical plant site, including groundwater, soil, and vapor sampling.</li><li>Develop and implement site investigation work plans, health and safety plans, and remediation strategies.</li><li>Manage environmental data and contribute to conceptual site models.</li><li>Oversee subcontractors including drilling, excavation, and laboratory services.</li><li>Conduct aquifer testing, geophysical surveys, and monitoring well installations.</li><li>Prepare technical reports and regulatory submittals.</li><li>Support or lead project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture and mentor junior staff.</li></ul> <ul></ul>
