Manufacturing Supervisor (Night Shift)What you will doAs a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will develop and implement replenishment strategies and tactics that meet Clarios goals and objectives; taking seasonal, divisional and specific customer requirements. The successful candidate will be highly detail oriented with a background in manufacturing management using data base driven ERP software and Lean principles. A proven track record of creative problem solving, following through on integrated projects, and effective communication is essential.How you will do it<ul><li>Manage and analyze customer information, order methods, and trends to inform planning decisions.</li><li>Formulate, maintain, and execute production schedules and build plans to meet customer demands.</li><li>Maintain optimum inventory levels to support the production schedule and achieve on-time delivery targets.</li><li>Expedite workflow and administer production priorities to address dynamic operational needs.</li><li>Evaluate safety stock requirements and adjust planning strategies accordingly.</li><li>Manage engineering changes and oversee the introduction of new products and battery turnover.</li><li>Facilitate inter-departmental communication regarding demand changes, supply issues, and production status.</li><li>Supervise the Maintenance Team and ensure all activities support production goals and compliance targets (EHS, quality, budget).</li></ul>What we look forRequired:<ul><li>Minimum 2 years’ of Supervisory experience in Production Planning &amp; Control, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Inventory Control</li><li>Excellent organization and communication skills (speak/read/write)</li><li>Ability to understand and use ERP/MRP systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>Willing to work overtime to meet critical project deadlines and production goals.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>BS in Engineering or equivalent degree</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish)</li></ul>What we do here<div>Our Yuma, Arizona distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, and motorcycles.
