Responsibilities:Customer Engagement and Sales<ul><li>Understand a customer’s application requirements and help identify tailored solutions.</li><li>Conduct sales presentations, negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue targets.</li><li>Assists in the creation of marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services and adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.</li><li>Develops and hits revenue targets for your territory.</li><li>Develops and trains channel partners.</li><li>Develop and maintain a territory sales plan that focuses on key accounts and sales stimulus activities including planned seminars, product shows, and mailings.</li><li>Profile and penetrate key accounts by developing account profiles.</li><li>Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs.</li><li>Occasional availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to support international business goals and deadlines.</li></ul>Market Research and Analysis:<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive landscape.</li><li>Analyze market trends, customer needs, and regulatory frameworks to identify key opportunities for hydrogen solutions.</li></ul>Business Strategy Development:<ul><li>Work within the TESI Clean Energy team to implement strategic plans to drive the growth of Teledyne Energy Systems' hydrogen, fuel cell, thermoelectric and battery businesses.</li><li>Define target markets, customer segments, and product positioning strategies based on market research and analysis.</li></ul>New Business Identification and Development:<ul><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the clean energy market, including collaborations, joint ventures, and acquisitions.</li><li>Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers and projects, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups.</li></ul>Partnership and Relationship Management:<ul><li>Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders, such as OEMs, suppliers, and government agencies.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure successful execution of business development strategies.</li><li>Coordinate with technical team to develop/write proposals, track and follow-up on submittals.</li><li>Travel to customer and industry events to represent Teledyne and expand company presence and relationships.</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 5-15 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge and understanding of hydrogen and battery technologies preferred.</li><li>Proven track record in identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, especially in the energy sector.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.</li><li>Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute business plans.</li><li>Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul> Preferred Skills/Experience:  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
