And that’s where you come in.Job Description:Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Intern - Project Management for Summer, 2026.  The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.  The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA.Accountabilities:<ul><li>Ensure prompt recording of project correspondence on Project SharePoint sites and tracking logs for correspondence to/from clients and to/from subcontractors;</li><li>Ensure prompt releases of submittals to the client following release from the project team;</li><li>Preparation of customer monthly progress reports through data maintained by the Associate Project Support, as well as data provided by the Project team and PM;</li><li>Support preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Project Review presentations in PowerPoint by the PM;</li><li>Preparation of Project Progress Payment documentation and invoicing to the Project client;</li><li>Support preparation of Variation Orders for the Projects;</li><li>Contribute to the maintenance of the Project Management Plan;</li><li>Support the Project Manager for any other specific task as appropriate.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience:<ul><li>0 to 3 years expertise in a Project Management role</li><li>Ability to support many projects and Project Managers simultaneously</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with Excel, Power Point, Sharepoint, Word</li><li>Strong relevant technical skills</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Current Engineering or Business student at a 4-year university with a graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027.</li></ul>Languages:<ul><li>English Proficiency</li></ul>Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply for a job at Hitachi, please send the nature of request and contact information to hrunitedstates@hitachirail.com.
