We’re focused on shaping thoughtful, team-driven approaches that support both business impact and individual well-being.We also prioritise meaningful company-wide gatherings like our annual conference and end-of-year celebrations, that bring us together to align, connect, and celebrate.What will I be doing?You will be focused on a domain within our Client Engineering function, building out tools to support migrations of accounts from legacy systems to the Kaluza systems.You'll analyze customer data to understand user behavior and product performance. You'll focus on customer cohorts, linking findings to migration plans by identifying trends and optimal strategies for a smooth customer transition.You'll work with our wider product teams to build and maintain high-performance data pipelines as we migrate many customers every day. Teamwork is key. You'll collaborate closely with customers, building trust and understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction. Clearly explaining complex data will be crucial for maintaining strong customer relationships.Our tech stack is very fluid, but broadly you can find yourself working with:Typescript, Databricks, Node JS, Terraform, Gitactions, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Kafka, GraphQLAbout You Ideally you’ll have/be<ul><li>Solid experience developing backend applications, ideally in TypeScript or a willingness to pick it up quickly.</li><li>Understanding of event-driven systems and working with queues</li><li>Extremely comfortable working with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), especially serverless technologies.</li><li>Experience with database design, optimisation, and maintenance (SQL or NoSQL).</li><li>Passionate about high-quality software and solving real customer problems.</li><li>Prior experience setting up standards and principles on a rapidly growing team.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills — you enjoy mentoring and knowledge sharing.</li><li>Proactive mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity.</li><li>Bilingual (French and English)</li></ul> What will set you apart <ul><li>Background in a data engineering environment, working with tools such as DataBricks and with data mapping processes.</li><li>Experience developing tooling on a prior migration programme.</li></ul> Other RequirementsKaluza is a global business, as a result the person in this role will be required to travel as part of commercial and deployment activities. By way of a guide, it’s expected you will be able to visit client offices in Paris and Brussels on a frequent basis.
