Role overview At Flexidao, we are building the data infrastructure to power the future of the energy sector. Our platform's ability to ingest, process, and analyze vast amounts of Meter and Energy Attribute Certificate (EAC) data is core to our mission. We are looking for a passionate Senior Data Integration Engineer to own and scale the data backbone of our platform, ensuring a reliable and timely flow of data that powers our products and insights. Your Challenge <ul><li>Own the End-to-End Data Pipeline Lifecycle: You will design, build, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process data from diverse sources, including third-party APIs, databases, message queues, and flat files.</li><li>Build for Scale and Reliability: Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and performance. You will be responsible for the monitoring, security, and operational excellence of our data integration systems.</li><li>Solve Complex Data Challenges: Implement sophisticated data transformations and business logic to turn raw data into actionable information that drives product features and critical business decisions.</li><li>Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-impact data solutions. Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in data engineering and software development.</li><li>Drive Technical Excellence: Contribute to a high-quality codebase through thoughtful code reviews, comprehensive documentation, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will keep abreast of new technologies and trends to evolve our data stack.</li></ul> Must-haves <ul><li>Experience: 5+ years in software engineering, with a demonstrated focus on data integration, ETL development, or backend systems.</li><li>ETL Expertise: Deep expertise in designing, implementing, and operating complex ETL/ELT pipelines.</li><li>Programming Proficiency: Strong coding skills in a modern language.
