We’ve come a long way, join us in the next step of our incredible journey! What are we looking for We have an opportunity for a Team Leader, the role will support the production of Stack’s from Inspection of parts right through to Hydrostatic Testing. Interfacing with all key stake holders in each support function using the KPI’s set by the business relating to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People. Responsible for maintaining full traceability of all materials used throughout, both systemically and physically. An understanding of Lean Manufacturing Techniques is desirable to ensure our processes are Continuously Improving. The hours are 38.75 per week to include a 15-minute handover per daily shift, working a 2-shift rotational pattern – 05.45-14.00 and 13.45-22.00.  Responsibilities <ul><li>Plan the department’s workload and report on progress. </li><li>Allocate duties either directly or indirectly to your team and ensure all resource are effectively utilised. </li><li>Supervision of the team, including authorising and management of holidays, monitoring of timekeeping and attendance, dealing with low-level disciplinary issues.</li><li>Reporting of absences to HR and completion of reporting paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>Conduct Absence Management Welfare meetings under the direction and support of HR.</li><li>Monitor, develop and coach your team, ensuring achievement of performance goals and KPIs. </li><li>Ensure new starter inductions are carried out and new starters are on boarded effectively.</li><li>Mentor new trainees and review progress to training plan and provide any further assistance required.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitor performance and competency of your direct reports, providing coaching and training, and escalating as necessary. </li><li>Define and prioritise individual training plans for the department.</li><li>Lead by example and reflect best practice in everything you do.</li><li>Monitor break times to ensure maximum productivity.</li><li>Challenge staff who are not adhering to company policy.</li><li>Liaise with key stakeholders and identify any risks.</li><li>Adhere to ITM’s policies and procedures at all times.</li><li>Conduct all activities to the Company’s Health and Safety policies and escalate any safety concerns found immediately.</li><li>Ensure all HSE and wider company publications are shared (and signed where required) in a timely manner.</li><li>Actively involved in suggesting and making positive change across all elements of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People within your department.</li><li>Attend training courses when required.</li><li>Work proactively in reviewing critical documents relating SQDCP and communicate any information to your team as it is required.</li><li>Oversee the training of identified competencies of Technicians/ Operators.</li><li>Actively work to maintain and improve technical documentation in area alongside support functions including SOP’s, RA, quality control plans etc.</li><li>Be the point of contact for any technical queries relating to process improvement, R&amp;D, machinery, tooling, or people.</li><li>To present the daily Production Meeting to communicate issues and gain support from all key stakeholders.</li><li>Be responsible for ensuring RA Questionnaires are written for all newly released RA’s, shared with the team in a timely manner and the tracker is reflective.</li><li>Utilise the local production boards available during handovers to ensure effective communication between shifts. </li><li>Support the team regarding the inputting of data into the OEE spreadsheet to ensure all downtime is captured by reason and help drive preventative actions. </li><li>Ensure that team members follow standardised operating procedures and adhere to quality controls in place like the 357 rule and QIR Process.</li><li>Attend daily MRB meetings to ensure control of materials unfit for purpose and share lessons learnt with peers.</li><li>Ensure component traceability is maintained throughout and take ownership of all W/O’s post being raised by the Planning department from both a system and physical point of view, as close to real time as possible.</li><li>To ensure all results, including Hydrostatic testing are recorded accurately, along with the build verification sheet being fully populated daily.</li><li>Ensure all equipment is available and maintained including calibration and safety critical equipment, including pre-start checks. </li></ul> About You Knowledge and Experience <ul><li>Experience gained in a Team Leader role within a manufacturing environment</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety guidelines</li><li>Experience of delivering to plan right first time, managing workflow and achieving targets</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of 6S in the workplace</li><li>Good understanding of Lean Techniques</li></ul> Skills and Abilities <ul><li>Strong organisational skills and time management skills with a willingness to remain flexible</li><li>Good problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Work as part of a team or
