<div> Job Details <div>Level:    Management</div> <div>Job Location:    Visalia Office - Visalia, CA</div> <div>Salary Range:    $127500.00 - $160500.00 Salary/year</div> </div>DescriptionGeneral:<ul><li>Responsible for managing all accounting and finance functions, including monthly/quarterly/year end close, journal entries, account analysis, and financial statement reporting in compliance with US GAAP.</li><li>Team and individual contributor for day-to-day operations of the General Ledger and Cost activities, with supervision of the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.</li><li>Directs the processing of monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, revenue recognition, fixed asset depreciation, and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries.</li><li>Directs general account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, employer’s benefit costs, accruals, leases, and prepaid expenses.</li><li>Performs cost accounting projects and reporting related to construction projects and work in process (WIP).</li><li>Assists in the preparation of financial reports for budget performance, project performance, variance analysis, and other FP&amp;A related duties as assigned.</li><li>Assist in administering the ESOP and 401k with the Human Resources Supervisor.</li><li>Assist the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) in designing and enforcing SarbanesOxley and accounting controls.</li><li>Support annual budgeting and planning process.</li><li>Assist in managing tax compliance and filings.</li><li>Assist the CFO in preparation of Board reporting and analysis.</li><li>Payroll support, such as, updating project and cost codes.</li><li>Commissions calculation and reporting, monthly.</li><li>Complete weekly audits and processing of company credit card expense reports and payments</li><li>Assist the CFO with maintenance of the accounting system.</li><li>Serve as Acumatica subject matter expert and aid in training of other departments in use of the system.</li><li>Assists in daily cash management reporting and tracking.</li><li>Maintain the fleet and DMV licensing.</li><li>Support of internal and external customer inquiries, when escalated from accounts receivable and accounts payable.</li><li>Assists the CFO in the formulation, analysis, and execution of new CalCom Energy accounting procedures and processes.</li><li>Preparation and reporting of sales tax returns and compliance.</li><li>Assists the CFO in the annual insurance renewals, annual financial audit, ESOP valuation, and tax preparation. </li><li>Review and approve all credit applications and re-sale certificates for vendor set up.</li><li>Perform other tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned by CFO.</li></ul>Qualifications Required:<ul><li>5-7 years work experience in an Accounting Manager, or similar role. </li><li>Bachelor’s degree required.</li><li>CPA license or eligible candidate preferred.</li><li>ERP Accounting system experience required.</li><li>Extremely strong MS Office skills – MUST be intermediate to advance in MS Excel.</li><li>Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting and reporting requirements (ASC 606 and 842 included).</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting processes (A/R, A/P, and General Ledger).</li><li>Excellent written/oral communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to build and maintain best in class practices with an eye toward automation and continuous improvement to drive efficiency.</li><li>Ability to work independently, as well as with a team, to prioritize tasks.</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines accurately and consistently in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.</li><li>Ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.</li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li>Construction or solar industry experience</li><li>Strong cost accounting experience</li><li>Acumatica experience</li><li>ESOP experience</li></ul>
