As needed</li><li>Aids in cash management reporting</li><li>Assists in monthly close activities as directed by the CFO</li><li>Performs general accounts analysis and reconciliations for A/R </li><li>Assists in the preparation of financial reports</li><li>Prepares reports and documentation in support of internal and external audits</li><li>Support of internal and external customer inquiries</li><li>Coordinate project-specific systems connected with A/R work</li><li>Compile statistical and financial accounting reports and tables</li><li>Perform filing and general administrative tasks within the department</li><li>Assist in the formulation, analysis, and execution of new CalCom Energy accounting procedures and processes</li><li>Create, organize, and maintain all customer files.</li><li>Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by CFO</li></ul> Accounts Receivable:<ul><li>Process customer invoices and milestone payments</li><li>Process and post all received payments from customers per CalCom processes</li><li>Reconcile customer accounts to ensure correct payment application </li><li>Provide preliminary customer lien waivers (PLNs)</li><li>Coordinate obtaining and documenting Certificates of Insurance (COIs)</li><li>Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments</li><li>Contact customers (by phone and email) to follow up on past-due payments</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and accounts receivable records</li><li>Prepare and submit regular reports, such as AR aging reports, to management</li><li>Document all collection activities and client communications thoroughly</li><li>Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments and account issues</li><li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies, billing errors and payment disputes, working with other CalCom team members to resolve client issues</li><li>Foster positive relationships with customers, even while management collections</li><li>Communicate with internal teams regarding past due accounts and account holds</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Required:<ul><li>5-7 years work experience in an A/R Specialist capacity, Bachelor’s degree preferred</li><li>ERP Accounting system experience required</li><li>Strong MS Office skills – MUST be intermediate in MS Excel</li><li>Excellent written/oral communication skills</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently, as well as with a team, to prioritize tasks</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines accurately and consistently in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment</li><li>Ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality</li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li>Construction or solar industry experience</li><li>Stable work history</li><li>Acumatica experience</li></ul>
