Are you interested in pursuing a career in utility-scale construction management? We seek Summer Field Engineer/Coordinator Interns who want to benefit from practical field experience in coordinating the construction of utility-scale solar and/or battery storage projects. Ideal candidates will be within a year of completing related coursework or recent graduates of an accredited engineering and construction management program. Interns will assist with onsite project observation, reporting, timekeeping, and development of project flow.  Summer Interns will be assigned to one of our solar/battery storage construction projects either in Texas, New Mexico, or Virginia to support daily operations. Weekly per-diem for lodging and meals will be included above hourly pay. Gridworks will provide assistance in accessing lodging and other needed support during the internship term.  About the Company   Established in 2014, Gridworks is a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. With 2 GW of solar and battery energy storage projects we are well positioned for continued success in the rapidly growing clean energy sector.  Primary Responsibilities: <ul><li>Manage subcontractor documentation including W-9s, insurance, contracts, pay applications, warranties. </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and manage contract documentation. </li></ul><ul><li>Manage electronic and paper documentation. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist with timekeeping duties. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist PM team by creating project timelines. </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare billings &amp; pay applications. </li></ul><ul><li>Prepare project updates for status meetings. </li></ul><ul><li>Assists management with administrative duties as assigned. </li></ul><ul><li>Works on special projects with management.</li></ul>Qualifications Requirements:<ul><li>Current student or recent graduate in an engineering construction management program; Students must be available a minimum of 4 weeks or a full Summer. </li></ul><ul><li>Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Professional. Must have the ability to learn new software programs. </li></ul><ul><li>Be able to handle a fast paced and constantly changing environment. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to take direction quickly and continue to work with minimal supervision. </li></ul><ul><li>Self-starter with strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and commitment to producing high quality work product, and ability to multi-task under tight time pressures. </li></ul><ul><li>Prior construction-related experience is a strong plus. </li></ul>
