In this role, you’ll see yourself completing detailed Drafting tasks ensuring SMEC Corporate and Client standards are maintained to provide an efficient and high-quality product.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Assisting in the preparation of schematic and production drawings;</li><li>Using a combination of standard and modified Drafting methods/techniques in addition to those developed in previous assignments for the purposes of solving problems;</li><li>Production of construction level documentation;</li><li>Check print procedure;</li><li>Issuing procedures;</li><li>Vault data management processes;</li><li>Revit structural modelling;</li><li>Assume responsibility for the results of simple projects or sections of projects under supervision;</li><li>Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to ascertain information required to undertake drawings and documentation tasks;</li><li>Carry out design tasks as directed to meet agreed outcomes and cost structure;</li><li>Produce model and/or drawings to timeline;</li></ul>About YouSuitable applicants will be/have:<ul><li>Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree</li><li>5 years relevant drafting experience within the industry</li><li>Familiar &amp; experience in Civil Infrastructure and CADD technologies</li><li>Software: CADD technologies with emphasis on the Autodesk suite of products</li><li>Ability to self-manage and prioritise own workload</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment</li><li>Ability to adapt to changing situations</li></ul>How to ApplyAll applications must be submitted online.
