Key deliverables include the monthly Group consolidation as well as support of the annual and interim result of the Group.Role Responsibilities<ul><li>Ownership of the Group’s multi-currency consolidation process for both internal management and statutory purposes.</li><li>Liaison with global process owners to ensure a timely and accurate close across 27 countries.</li><li>Preparation of individual notes to the Group’s consolidated accounts under IFRS and associated analysis.</li><li>Review of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure integrity and appropriate understanding / analysis of business unit submissions and overall consolidated results.</li><li>Preparation of monthly consolidated Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, along with process reporting to show both what the results are and how we know if they accurate and not misstated.</li><li>Liaison with other Group functions (Tax, Legal, Company Secretarial, Treasury and Compliance) to ensure that supporting analysis for the annual report is prepared in a timely manner and delivered to fulfil the Group’s reporting requirements.</li><li>Liaison with the external audit teams.</li><li>Support of the annual budgeting and planning processes including working with the Group FP&amp;A team to prepare quality forward looking consolidated reports.</li><li>Developing the functionality inherent in the consolidation tools and building controls and reporting in line with best practice.</li><li>Developing and implementing best practice end to end processes.</li><li>Support for the wider team's delivery requirements including ad hoc project work as required.</li></ul>Experience / CompetencesEssential<ul><li>Previous experience with multi-currency consolidations and plc group accounts is essential, preferably using Hyperion Financial Management or OneStream</li><li>Qualified Accountant</li><li>Excellent Excel skills</li><li>Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Open to innovative ideas/ experiences and ability to create new ideas, approaches or insights</li><li>Seeks opportunities for improvements</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with a proactive approach</li></ul>Band &amp; level: Professional, 5#LI-MID #LI-HyrbidNot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
