In 2024, Repsol made another strategic acquisition of ConnectGen from Quantum Capital Group. Repsol Renewables Services North America (“RRSNA”) is targeting to own and operate 3-4 GW of renewable capacity in North America by 2027.</p><p></p><p>We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Transmission Intern for our summer program to join our team!</p><p></p><p>If you are passionate about working in a global, inclusive, and collaborative team to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for RRSNA and the communities we serve, we want to hear from you.</p><p></p><p><b>This is a twelve (12) week program starting May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026, in Downtown Houston.</b>    </p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b> </p><ul><li>Work closely with the Project EPC, Project Engineers as well as the Project and Business Development team, to achieve interconnection of utility scale solar and storage projects. </li></ul><ul><li>Review and analyze utility pre-screen reports, System Impact Studies, Interconnection Service Agreements, and manage a portfolio of utility interconnection applications from initial submission through closeout. </li></ul><ul><li>Support the electrical design and interconnection application process for utility scale PV, storage, wind, and hybrid projects, identify reliability and congestion constraints for FERC jurisdictional projects, other non-FERC like ERCOT, and develop integrated solutions. </li></ul><ul><li>Analyze interconnection due diligence materials to support project acquisition efforts, identify existing and potential red flags. </li></ul><ul><li>Review utility impact studies and upgrade estimates to identify cost or time saving measures. </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b> </p><ul><li>Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining focus and calmness. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist in managing several projects simultaneously. </li></ul><ul><li>Assist in providing timely assessments with limited information and/or assumptions. </li></ul><ul><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa</li><li>Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in undergraduate or graduate electrical engineering or a related discipline degree program.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including exceptional attention to details and ability to multitask. </li></ul><ul><li>Must be a very good communicator, with good relationship skills and the ability to build relationships in a multi – cultural environmental. </li></ul><ul><li>Proven written and verbal communication skills </li></ul><ul><li>Strategic problem solving </li></ul><ul><li>Self-motivated </li></ul><ul><li>Very strong work ethics and exemplary standards of integrity, safety, ethics, quality, and productivity </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Repsol is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran</b> </p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;">Required skills:</p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p>
