This individual will collaborate with investment professionals and stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions. The role requires strong hands-on development skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proven record of building high-quality systems that support trading and investment decision-making.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of trading and portfolio management applications.</li><li>Deliver reliable, well-tested code within an Agile environment.</li><li>Support the full software lifecycle: analysis, coding, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.</li><li>Partner closely with traders, portfolio managers, and colleagues to translate business needs into technical solutions.</li><li>Participate in design discussions, peer code reviews, and team knowledge sharing.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues, provide production support, and improve system reliability.</li><li>Help ensure data accuracy and adherence to governance standards.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.</li><li>6+ years of technology experience, including at least 3 years in a trading environment.</li><li>Proven track record of building and deploying trading software in production.</li><li>Hands-on development experience with Python, Java, C++, and SQL.</li><li>Familiarity with modern web development frameworks (ie Vue, React) and typescript</li><li>Exposure to trading technologies across asset classes; familiarity with trading workflows or the credit lifecycle preferred.</li><li>Experience with transaction cost analysis, P&amp;L attribution, risk factor modeling, and order routing strongly preferred.</li><li>Solid background with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectures.</li><li>Strong database skills (SQL/NoSQL), with experience in query optimization and data management.</li><li>Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka and working knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git).</li><li>Experience delivering full-stack applications in Agile development environments.</li><li>Strong initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Collaborative approach with the ability to partner effectively across levels of seniority.</li></ul>ABOUT APOLLOApollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager.
