Join our Heating &amp; Refrigeration Team in Mexico and support us as a Proposal Engineer.Responsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Design manufacturing processes in the “Heating and Refrigeration Industry” industry</li></ul><ul><li>Generate pre-engineering of projects:<ul><li>Process dimensioning</li><li>Production time schedules</li><li>Block diagrams</li><li>P&amp;IDs</li><li>Cleaning In Place distribution</li><li>Layout (Matching process requirements: Drains, pipe mass, operation and safety requirements…)</li><li>Calculation of product losses</li></ul></li><li>Dimensioning, equipment list generation and ordering of thermal and mechanical equipment (pumps, pipes, steam, valves, heat exchangers…).</li><li>Coordinate with different areas (sales, procurement, external GEA offices and technological centers of competence, logistics, electrical and automation engineering, process engineering, project management) for the manufacturing and installation of equipment in the region</li><li>Analyze project cost and prepare schedule plans for effective implementation of this project</li><li>Review existing process engineering and make necessary changes to support project execution when necessary</li><li>Lead technical design reviews for projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams</li><li>Use of 2D design tools</li><li>Conduct technical discussions and order clarification meetings with customer and/or end suppliers, to ensure that the engineering meets customer and process requirements.</li><li>Provide technical problem support and claim resolution, including root cause analysis</li><li>Act as a facilitator between counterparts or other competencies</li><li>General engineering and consulting work</li><li>Detail engineering of projects, if needed</li><li>Drive improvement of technical solutions and secure best technology and learning is implemented into our engineering work and process design to the benefit of our customers</li><li>Drive improvement of technical solutions and secure proper technology and design, to comply with the guidelines of hygiene and sanitation regulatory bodies (i.e., EHEDG, 3A)</li><li>(Valuable) Use of 3D design tools</li></ul>  Your Profile / QualificationsEducational Background<ul><li>Degree in engineering: Mechanical and Chemical (Preferred), Industrial (Depending on applicable experience)</li><li>(Valuable) Master’s Degree and/or specific trainings in related technical technologies / processes</li></ul> Professional Knowledge and Experiences<ul><li>2+ Years of experience working in medium sized projects for the “Heating and Refrigeration” industry</li><li>(Valuable) Knowledge of main engineering calculation and design tools</li><li>Know manufacturing processes in the “Heating and Refrigeration” industry</li></ul> Other Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Ability to learn</li><li>Adaptability</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Analysis and problem solving</li><li>Decision making</li><li>Initiative</li><li>Planning &amp; Organization</li><li>English B2 or better</li><li>Creativity</li><li>Client focus</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
