The position is based in Pearl City, HI.Accountabilities:<ul><li>Performs routine, preventive and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, lubrication and proper maintenance on assigned Signaling system equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams, schematics, operations and maintenance manuals.</li><li>Observes system components and devices in operation to detect potential failures and locate causes of malfunction. </li><li>Perform troubleshooting, identification and resolution of system and subsystem to support field technicians in the diagnosis and correction of faults.</li><li>Produce accurate maintenance records, equipment performance, work accomplished, and other information using a computerized maintenance management system</li><li>Analyzes log files to troubleshoot complex to provide required corrective action and improvement</li><li>Drive work vehicles when responding to emergencies and when required on duty</li><li>Support the on-site spare parts management and the repair cycle from/to the site</li><li>Support the preparation of system performance maintenance technical report</li><li>Produce work blocks and Job hazard analysis pertained to planned work</li><li>Conduct job and safety briefing as required</li><li>Perform duties as instructed/directed by Department Manager and the System Engineer</li><li>The role requires to trends that may impact fleet availability</li><li>Ensure logs and dump files download from on-site equipment and provide first level of analysis</li><li>Performs related duties as systems   in accordance with training and qualification</li></ul>Required Education/Skills:<ul><li> Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and electromechanical controlled systems and equipment </li><li>Associate Degree in Electrical engineering or related field</li><li>1-3 years’ experience in electronic equipment maintenance</li><li>Ability to use common and specialized tools and test equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of, or the ability to attain knowledge of the safety rules regarding lock-out protection while working on the line and the rules governing the protection of traffic.</li><li>Ability to use and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturers' maintenance instructions, Operating Rulebook, etc., and to comprehend the operations and maintenance of system. </li><li>A team player with a strong analytical mind and ability to work independently and in team environment with minimal supervision.</li></ul>Desired Skills/ Knowledge:<ul><li>2 years’ experience with maintenance and troubleshooting faults on electrical, mechanical and electromechanical controlled systems</li><li>Good analytical and problem-solving
