Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices and industry standards, such as  NERC CIP, in all designs and deployments. </li><li><b>Continuous Improvement</b>: Stay informed on emerging SCADA technologies, industrial protocols (DNP3, CAN, IEC 61850, Modbus), and best practices in data center automation.</li></ul><h3>The Ideal Candidate</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent practical experience in SCADA and control systems.</li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and commissioning SCADA systems within data centers, microgrids, or other critical infrastructure environments.</li><li>5+ years of experience working with industrial automation and control platforms (e.g., PLCs, RTUs, HMIs), SCADA configuration tools, and protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, SNMP, or IEC 61850.</li><li>2+ years of experience managing internal engineers and/or external suppliers to develop or deliver part or all of SCADA systems for projects, including through commissioning.</li><li>2+ years of experience presenting technical information to customers.</li><li>Experience supporting or integrating renewable energy systems and energy storage within SCADA frameworks is strongly preferred.</li><li>Solid understanding of power systems fundamentals, including load flow, fault detection, protection schemes, and equipment interlocks as applied through SCADA systems.</li><li> In-depth knowledge of data center electrical architecture, including UPS systems, generator backup, power distribution units (PDUs), and redundancy levels (N, N+1, 2N).</li><li>Experience designing or supporting AI or hyperscale data center SCADA systems, particularly with high-reliability and fault-tolerant design requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with reliability assessments and system performance monitoring through SCADA data capture and analytics.</li><li>Ability to review and produce SCADA system diagrams, control logic schematics, I/O lists, and network topologies.
