By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.<h3>About the Role</h3>We are now looking for an incredibly driven and ambitious individual to supercharge and expand our greenfield utility-scale development projects with a specific focus on land acquisition and landowner engagement. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional independent operator willing to work at high intensity as part of our core team. They will have a very strong bias towards action and feel comfortable generating and handling both outbound and inbound leads. They will also drive project development strategy, including site identification and origination, outreach to landowners and feasibility studies.<h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Identify and originate potential sites for utility-scale renewable energy projects across the UK</li> <li>Proactively engage with landowners through outbound outreach, inbound inquiries, and relationship management</li> <li>Negotiate land agreements and support the structuring of commercial terms</li> <li>Conduct feasibility studies and initial assessments, collaborating with technical teams to evaluate site potential</li> <li>Maintain a well-organised pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent follow-up and progress tracking</li> <li>Provide insights to refine project development strategy, outreach methods, and internal processes</li> <li>Represent Fuse Energy professionally in conversations with landowners, partners, and other stakeholders</li> <li>Work closely with the core team to scale Fuse’s greenfield project portfolio at pace</li> </ul>Requirements<ul><ul> <li>Relentless approach to business development and developing project pipelines</li> <li>Some experience with outbound sales and lead generation</li> <li>Highly structured approach to lead generation and management</li> <li>Focus on strategy improvements and process optimisation</li> <li>Ability to learn quickly and work independently</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken English</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree from a good university </li> </ul></ul>Bonus:<ul><ul><li>Previous experience in the energy industry and/or working with landowners in the UK</li></ul></ul>Benefits<ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Biannual bonus scheme</li> <li>Fully expensed tech to match your needs</li> <li>Deliveroo breakfast and dinner for office-based employees</li> </ul>
