You’ll provide expert consulting services focused on distribution system modeling and analysis, always with a client-centered mindset. Your work will directly support clients by helping them make informed, data-driven decisions that align with the evolving energy landscape.In this role, your contributions will include, but are not limited to, development and completion of reports, presentations, technical trainings, distribution planning studies, distributed energy resource (DER) system impact analyses, short circuit and protection coordination studies, generation interconnection application review, system design studies, cost-benefit analysis, and alternatives analysis. <h2>Responsibilities</h2>How you can make an impact:<ul> <li>Provide client support on electrical theory, technical problem-solving, code compliance, standards and criteria compliance, and other technical subject matter.</li> <li>Communicate with clients and ensure that client expectations are not only met and managed properly but also exceeded.</li> <li>Prepare reports, presentations, letters, one-line diagrams, and maps to communicate study results.</li> <li>Process, generate, and maintain data as required for engineering related studies.</li> <li>Consistently aim to develop tools, processes, and procedures that enhance engineering study completion and efficiency.</li> <li>Participate in multi-functional teams to obtain input, address comments, and perform studies.</li> <li>Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives.</li> <li>Perform various distribution planning studies in multiple software environments while applying planning criteria mitigation and considering alternatives analysis. </li> <li>Identify expected system impacts from the interconnection of load growth and distributed energy resource (DER) technologies and determine appropriate and cost-effective mitigation measures where necessary.</li> <li>Perform research and analysis work related to the proliferation of distributed energy resources and distribution automation capabilities including solar, wind, storage, electric vehicles, conservation voltage reduction, automated circuit restoration, and other emerging technologies.</li> <li>Perform technical reviews for distribution planning studies performed by other engineering staff and provide feedback to ensure production of high-quality deliverables.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2>Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:<ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
