This role is based at our facility in Huntsville, Alabama.Summary:Machinist supports plant operations by using CNC and/or manual machining knowledge to modify, repair, and/or maintain various equipment and tooling. Higher level technicians write CNC programming, to include proper methodology, tooling, cutting speeds and feeds, to generate quality parts in accordance with product specifications. Applies niche knowledge in addition to routine work area procedures to complete activities. Resolves task related problems of varying complexity, ranging from straightforward to highly sophisticated, and with considerable latitude and independent judgement.
