Our water team offers services across the full water cycle, delivering major pipelines, large pumping stations and advanced water, wastewater, and recycling treatment plants.With a minimum of 10+ years’ experience, your core responsibilities include:<ul><li>Provide leadership and proactively collaborate with Water Infrastructure team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables</li><li>Detailed design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems with a focus on LV electrical systems including schematics, equipment layout, motor control centres and communications systems, SCADA, instrumentation and PLCs. </li><li>Provide technical reports and specifications for projects (design reports, functional descriptions, technical specifications)</li><li>Apply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard in a timely manner.</li></ul>With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.Suitable applicants will have/be:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and RPEQ (or ability to obtain)</li><li>Relevant 10+ years' experience in Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Engineering experience, ideally gained within the water sector or industrial plant</li><li>CHAZOP experience highly desirable</li><li>Familiarity with standards, conceptual and detailed design, and design management of electrical infrastructure</li><li>Design experience with knowledge of industry standards. </li><li>Strong skills in instrumentation, controls, SCADA and LV design</li><li>Applied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 3008.1.1.</li><li>Experience with design software such as PowerCADis preferred</li><li>Well-developed communication skills with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders</li></ul>What we offer:<ul><li>Flexible work arrangement to support work/life balance.</li><li>Ethical client base.</li><li>Opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by industry leaders.</li><li>Professional Development Programs from graduates to leaders through mixture of inhouse programs and external courses as well as tertiary education financial assistance.</li><li>Dynamic career pathways and opportunities to work on projects nationally and internationally.</li><li>Purchased additional annual leave.</li><li>Swap public holidays – swap Easter or other holidays for ones that suit you better!</li><li>Generous paid parental leave (primary and secondary).</li><li>Wellbeing benefits.</li></ul>How to applyAll applications must be submitted online.
