Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Diagnose and repair issues with automated systems, robotic arms, PLC systems, and conveyor systems (nonsoftware related).</li><li>Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and efficiency.</li><li>Work with industrial robotic assembly devices, cobots, AGV / AMR, vision systems, electrical systems, and manufacturing automation systems to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Identify potential system failures and ensure critical components are stocked for quick repairs.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation technology and suggest process improvements.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure smooth operation of all automated systems.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Ability to work 2nd Shift 2 pm-10 pm, or 3rd Shift 10 pm-6 am.</li><li>High School diploma / GED equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.</li><li>Technical expertise in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and automation systems (mechatronic background). This role requires someone with strong automation experience.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve system malfunctions.</li><li>Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair.</li><li>Experience with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.</li><li>Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other team members.</li><li>Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
