This role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships while identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.<ul><li>Key Responsibilities:</li><li>Sales Management:<ul><li>Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned region or market segment.</li><li>Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.</li><li>Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.</li><li>Maintain customer, contact and opportunity records in CRM to ensure healthy funnel and pipeline management and growth.</li></ul></li><li>Account Management:<ul><li>Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.</li><li>Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Identify opportunities for new business and upsell potential to increase share-of-wallet within established accounts.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.</li><li>Obtain accurate product forecast details to support monthly/quarterly Sales Operations forecast cycles</li></ul></li><li>New Customer Acquisition:<ul><li>Utilize prospecting techniques to identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.</li><li>Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.</li><li>Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that generate leads and drive business growth.</li></ul></li><li>Reporting and Analysis:<ul><li>Prepare and present regular territory reviews including, forecasts, opportunity progress and win/loss to senior management.</li><li>Along with Sales Operations, analyze performance data and trends within your defined region to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.</li></ul></li><li>Collaboration:<ul><li>Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client management.</li><li>Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and build industry connections</li></ul></li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience</li><li>Proven track record of 5+ years in sales, account management, and business development</li><li>Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and practices</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills</li><li>Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Strong customer communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on responding promptly and meeting commitments made to customers</li><li>Strong work ethic with positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new things</li><li>Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)</li><li>Verbal and written communication skill in English is a must</li><li>Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed</li></ul>Preferred Skills/Experience: <ul><li>Knowledge of the uses and technical capabilities of industrial digital cameras and/or experience in the Machine Vision Industry is an asset</li><li>Familiarity with hardware based sales and the Electronics, Manufacturing, or Robotics industries</li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce CRM</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
